Blue Chip Stocking is a popular choice for those items that need an extra special touch without any fuss. Whilst you could use it for socks, this yarn is much better suited to hats, hand wear, shawls and garments. Bluefaced Leicester provides strength and intense colour, silk gives some shine and cashmere lends a bit of luxurious warmth. Moderate twist means good stitch definition.
Hand dyed yarn is a work of art - no two skeins are the same. We recommend that you order enough yarn to complete your project, and that you alternate skeins every couple of rows to avoid obvious colour differences.
