The 2021 Holiday Coordinates - Kid Glove Lace is for when your pattern needs mohair/silk lace to compliment your 2021 Mystery Holiday Yarn Kit. There are three colours to choose from:
Much Ado About Knockers is a variegated bright magenta, purple, yellow, white and orange (light and bright)
Butterscotch is a semi-solid warm tan with hints of orange, dark cocoa and maroon (warm neutral mid-tone)
Nevermore is a variegated black with hints of fuchsia, Kelly green and royal blue (dark and mysterious)
The 2021 Holiday Coordinates - Kid Glove Lace is being dyed to order for the 2021 Mystery Holiday Yarn Kit ONLY (for now). Please do not order if you haven't purchased the 2021 Mystery Holiday Yarn Kit, otherwise your order will be cancelled and your money refunded. If there is sufficient interest I can dye these skeins at a later date (please message me).
Occasionally extra skeins will already be dyed and available. I plan to post everything out together with the 2021 Mystery Holiday Yarn Kits in mid-November but your order may be delayed if received later than the first week in November. I will contact you if this is the case. Note also that if you buy multiple skeins of the same colour I will do my best to match them, but this is limited by the variation both within and between dye batches.
In keeping with the original TOC fundraising idea, $5 from each Much Ado About Knockers skein sold will be donated to Fitted For Work, a not-for-profit that helps women experiencing disadvantage to get work, keep work and navigate their world of work.
Kid Glove Lace
- 70% superfine kid mohair, 30% silk
- Hand wash only. This yarn will felt if washed in hot water and/or agitated. Air dry flat in shade
Kid Glove Lace is a fun versatile yarn for your crafting needs. Superfine kid mohair provides soft warmth and a fluffy halo, whilst the shine of the silk peeps through and lends strength to this yarn. Use a single strand to produce cobweb-like lacework, or hold together with itself or other yarns to produce a thicker fabric with a luxurious soft halo.
Hand dyed yarn is a work of art - no two skeins are the same. We recommend that you order enough yarn to complete your project, and that you alternate skeins every couple of rows to avoid obvious colour differences.
